239K Called By Hyundai vehicles over exploding seatbelt part

Hyundai has reviewed 239,000 vehicles cross country out of worry that specific safety belt

The review influences specific 2019-2022 Accents, 2021-2023 Elantras and 2021-2022 Elantra mixtures, as per a security review report

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in the review report, which influences driver's and front traveler's safety belt pretensioners

that tenants could be harmed assuming the blasts send metal sections all through the vehicle

The NHTSA said it told Hyundai in September that a tenant of a 2021 Hyundai Elantra supposedly experienced a leg injury after the driver's side safety belt pretensioner detonated.

The organization has since been made mindful of two comparative episodes, one in the U.S. also, the other in Singapore.

Proprietors can carry their vehicles to showrooms for nothing to connect a cap to the pretensioners

which secure the safety belt during an accident. Hyundai will tell proprietors through mail by July 15, the NHTSA said. The organization is as yet examining the underlying driver of the issue.

The NHTSA said proprietors who had acquired their vehicles for four past reviews should support their vehicles once more
